Catholic High has something unseen in many schools–connection to the community. Insights from the CHS Admissions Office

Thank you for showing interest in Catholic High. The Office of Admission is here to personally guide families through the admission process and identify students who we believe will thrive at CHS. We hope to provide you with a great amount of information to understand our school’s mission, programs, and application procedure.

Catholic High is a unique, close-knit community that provides a welcoming environment to our multicultural student body. Our faculty and attentive staff combine to embrace new members of our family to make Catholic High a comfortable home away from home.

Our students are challenged to reach excellence academically, athletically, and socially while keeping Christ at the center of all words and actions. We value each student as an individual based on their personality and goals.

Admissions Process

STEP ONE

We will begin accepting applications for new students at the beginning of December. You can find the application by going to Apply Now. Please keep in mind that there is a non-refundable $25 application fee. If you do not have access to a computer, contact the Admissions Office and we will set up an appointment and you can apply by using a computer on campus. Once the application has been submitted, you will be contacted to set up an official shadow day and required admissions interview.

STEP TWO

You will be notified by letter on our official “Red Letter Day” if your child has been accepted to Catholic High School. This means that all letters of acceptance will be mailed out at the beginning of February. Next, you will receive an email from admissions@chspanthers.com with the necessary instructions on how to get your new Panther officially enrolled! At this time, you will pay the $425 registration fee (family fee) online.

*If your child has special needs or if they currently receive services at school, a meeting will be scheduled with the Individual Special Needs (ISN) Committee before the student can be enrolled. We like to have a proactive approach and ensure that all parties are on the same page.
