Where do the proceeds go?
Endowment
Because tuition only partially covers the cost of a Catholic education, it is imperative that we make a concerted effort to advance our Endowment Fund. This investment in the future of CHS ensures not only that the traditions of the Christian Brothers and Carmelite Sisters continue for generations to come, but it also helps to facilitate current teacher retention and a renewed commitment to Catholic education.
Facilities
Preserving and continuing to advance a tradition of academic excellence and Christ-centered values requires continual upgrade and maintenance of our facilities. With the help of DWTS, we have also been able to upgrade decades old air conditioning systems, add a new gymnasium, refurbish the track, repair and replace roofing, improve landscaping, and much more.
Technology
Educating our children is one of the most important tasks we face as a community. Catholic High continues to move forward by providing technology-rich learning environments that prepares its students for life beyond our classrooms. DWTS funds have contributed to critical network infrastructure and security improvements. These include all new managed switching, cloud-managed wireless access points, an updated server, and security cameras, to name just a few.
Tuition Assistance
As we continue to live the Catholic High motto, Acta Non Verba, we must break the barrier that many families face when choosing Catholic education—cost. Not only is your support at Dancing With the Stars. Panther Style is crucial to helping those students already enrolled whose families are facing unforeseen circumstances, it also helps us to reach out to qualified students regardless of socioeconomic status to provide an opportunity for a Catholic education.
