Boy in a Catholic High uniform looking up with 3 other boys in the background.

I know all of our students are looking forward to freedom from uniform and grooming restrictions!  But I would ask that students take some time to try on uniforms sometime this summer. Please donate items to the swap shop that are still in good condition but too tight or too short. And you may want to visit approved school vendors early to benefit from discounts they may be offering on uniform items at this time. My hope is that all young ladies will begin the school year with knee-length bottoms – skirts and shorts should definitely be no shorter than 3 inches from the floor, all the way around, when kneeling.  Please also examine school shoes.  If your child’s shoes are damaged, not structurally sound, and/or no longer able to be worn properly, please purchase new all-black shoes as age-appropriate.   And finally, while our young men may wish to go all summer without cutting their hair or shaving, when school resumes in August, they should be ready to follow all hair and grooming requirements. Until then, I hope you all enjoy a long, happy summer!!!
