Listening Sessions

Dear Parents, Grandparents, and CHS Stakeholders,

Thank you all for a blessed Homecoming week!  It was certainly a time for remembering the legacy and traditions that make our school special. Creating an environment that builds successful people who contribute to our community with Christ-centered values has long been the focus of our school mission.  Today, the faculty and staff remain committed to the pillars of our foundations established over 150 years ago by Christian Brothers and Mt. Carmel Sisters.

While we celebrate the past, we look to the future to assure continued student success and growth. For many years, Catholic High has effectively undertaken strategic long-range planning through our accreditation cycles, business planning, facilities assessments, etc.  Not only is this a best practice in the world of Catholic school education but it is also a mechanism to continue to keep our school alive and well through our partnership with our school community.

Beginning this week, Parent Listening Sessions, conducted by Catholic Vitality 360, will be held to gather your input. Faculty and student sessions will also be held. This is an important part of the process that welcomes your participation in an open and transparent way. As you may have read in the letter sent to your home, this process is supported by the faculty, staff, and administration. We are eager to hear your voices and gather the necessary information that will be needed for continual improvement and school growth.

These sessions, conducted by Steering Committee members, will be one hour long and are held at various times and locations.  Please prayerfully consider share your thoughts on three important questions:
What is working well at Catholic High?
What are areas of improvement that are needed at Catholic High?
As you look to the future, what is your vision for our school (areas of growth, goals, priorities, etc.)?

Thank you for your continued support of our school’s mission and vision for student success.

With Panther Pride,

Stella J. Arabie, Ed.D.
