2023 Student Orientation
REMEMBER to bring a copy of your schedule with locker number!
We will be conducting our orientations in much the same way as the last few years.
Seniors will attend in 30 minute increments from 8:00 AM until 12:00 PM on Wednesday, August 9, 2023. At school photo time, students will take personality photos and their school ID photo.
Personality photos can be creative and fun, but they may not be suggestive, inappropriate, feature adult brands, or involve props that cannot be easily put aside for regular school photos. Seniors with questions about what is appropriate can email Mrs. Aucoin at Saucoin@chspanthers.com.

It is important that students attend at their assigned time so that all students can take care of required orientation tasks. Please email Mrs. Aucoin with special requests as soon as possible; requests should include an explanation regarding a valid conflict. Her email is Saucoin@chspanthers.com.
Uniform and grooming policies are outlined in the Handbook. Communications have been sent regarding changes and expectations. These policies will be fully enforced beginning with the orientation days. Those in violation of uniform and grooming policies may not be allowed to take school ID pictures and will receive disciplinary consequences. Students deemed by school administrators to be in extreme violation of uniform and grooming policies will be sent home.
Please help your child to begin the school year on a positive note in this regard. Boys should pay particular attention to policies regarding hair length and height of hair as it lies on/extends from the head, and to being clean-shaven. Girls should take special note of the requirement for knee-length uniform skirts. All students should have the appropriate style of all-black shoes. Hooded sweatshirts are no longer allowed.
Procedures for drivers on orientation days are as follows:
-
Parent drivers will enter through the parent car line entrance on DeLaSalle Drive. Students will exit the vehicle immediately and proceed to their classrooms to drop off supplies. Adult drivers may then park in the gravel area in front of the gym to wait inside their vehicles for their students to complete the checklist. Please do not park in car line or in front of the gym.
-
Student drivers will proceed to the student parking lot, park, exit their vehicles, and begin completing the checklist below.
